Whose up for spreading some happiness?

Okay I can't get this out of my head. I tried to forget about it, but it keeps popping back into my mind. Especially today as I see posts from some of you fellow bloggers about the upcoming holidays and how we wish we could just skip over them because it hurts so much not to have all of our children with us. So here it is:

To those of you who are "crafty" in some way, I am thinking about us all joining together and doing a Twelve Days of Christmas (or however many days we can.) What I mean is each of us who choose to participate will host a giveaway to help spread some happiness to us who will so desperately be needing it. It would be great if we can do one a day from the day after Thanksgiving until Christmas Day, but even if it is just a few I still think it would help to lift our spirits.

Anyway, let me know what your thoughts are on this and if you would like to host a giveaway on your blog. (If I don't hear from some of you out there soon who I know have a special talent, I will be contacting you!! :)

  6. Hmmm...I'm fairly crafty. This could be a good follow-up to my pre-Thanksgiving pessimism experiment. Count me in

  7. I am in. I'll take anything to life my spirits & some other mommies. Not sure what I could give-a-way.... I do Every Life Has A Story & the web-hosted videos are already free. I could send the "give a way" winner a dvd copy of their childs video in the mail for free. What do you think?

  9. I'd love to join in, but I'm in the UK, will that complicate things too much? It just might mean that if someone wins my give away outside of the UK, then it might not arrive until after Christmas with the holiday post, or indedd the state of our Royal mail atm.

  10. I'm in - I can knit something warm and cozy. I'm only worried about time because I have many things to finish for family before too long. I'm in Canada but post to the US isn't usually too bad. Like Jeanette says, if it has to go overseas it can get snared up at this time of year. What a lovely idea though.

  16. Tina, count me in (third time is a charm!) at this point! I should be taking delivery on Monday or Tuesday of something that I need for my next 'Gracie project.' If I am able to translate the idea in my head into a tangible item, I totally in. If it doesn't work, I will let you know.
